i was looking forward to talking about arthur with all of y'all, but only half of you are still here.

where. is. the muppetfan?

He's apparently just dropped off the face of the earth; even over at Muppet Central, where he also used to post frequently, he hasn't been there in quite some time, and somebody was saying they used to be in private contact with him, but that even then, he's not responding to anything or answering any contacts.

Wow, I hope he's OK. I knew that he had been inactive here for a while, and while I don't really go to Muppet Central, I thought that he may have been posting there.

*face-palms.* this happened to me at pop secrets, too. when i finally can get on the site, the main poster/creator isn't here and has mysteriously disappeared.  >:( *sigh.* hopefully, if he does ever return, it wont be like it was with FM, where the minute she returns, she's turning everything off and kicking people out.

(popsecrets was my old hangout.)

Whoa,I hope he's doing all right.
But now that you mention it,I seem to not remember seeing any posts by Earwig lately...but,then again,if Snowth Woogle's theory of Earwig being Greg Bailey in real life, then he could just be busy with the show...

Muppetfan was last in contact with us over at the Arthur Wiki. I already know why he left us over at wikia, but out of respect for Muppetfan I will not reveal that to anyone no matter how many times they ask me. As for why he left this site, we may never know, but as Magnezonomon said, other commitments. The real question is what do we do with a site that doesn't have any administrative staff?

How long ago did he leave the Wiki?

well, i was able to get an account here even though he's not really handling this anymore. thank goodness for that. ive seen other sites where the one in charge left, and even though people were still interested in the forum and stuff, they couldn't get an account.  :-\

Yes, we are lucky that this forum does not have manual account approval.

Well, we're a small little group here, most of us coming from one of either two places where Hubert advertised the forum, so there's almost no need for approval.

Okay, I'm getting a little tired of all this RPing and such... when did MC say Hubert was coming back to straighten things up around here? Luigi's obsession with Bud's hat isn't funny anymore.

Two different people have asked or suggested I do it, if only because I've been here longer than most others, or post more regularly, but not only is that not possible without Hubert to give his approval, but I don't really have the time or the energy to maintain a forum, though I do have experience, I've run a small forum before and have had to deal with occasional knuckleheads.
