Upon looking back at Arthur, I notice a certain write named "Dietrich Smith" who appears in a few notable episodes (usually terrible, though he/she is credited with one I did like - Revenge Of The Chip).

Does anyone know anything else about this Dietrich Smith? Many attempts at searching around have given no viable information beyond episodes directed.

I dunno... looking at the Arthur Wiki, I see a few episode I like... "Revenge of the Chip", "Cast Away", "D.W.'s Time Trouble", "Return of the Snowball", "Vomitrocious!", "Bleep"...

IIRC, didn't somebody on here mention Dietrich Smith having also been a writer on DOUG? I'd have to look it up...

I said he was a Doug writer. According to IMDb, he wrote "Doug and Patti P.I.," "Doug's Hot Property," and "Doug's Great Beet War." He's also a writer for Martha Speaks.

He wrote "Brother, Can You Spare a Clarinet?", which was on today, and at least 16 other episodes.

Thanks for the replies. For all the buzz regarding Smith, I'd presumed he/she wielded a higher tier than the usual writers for hire.

Not such a good writer,but for some reason I can't stop myself from liking every episode he writes...
