Anyone familiar with Canadian voice actress Julie Lemieux, who voices Elwood City newcomer Bud Compson (Ladonna's little brother)?

Julie Lemieux has done voices in the cartoon series Busytown Mysteries, Spider Riders, Pelswick, Jojo's Circus, and a 1990's animated version of Flash Gordon.

He's voiced by a WOMAN? Wow, well then, this Julie Lemieux does pretty convincing boy voices... makes me wonder how these Canadian voice actresses do it... it's like how Kevin on Ed, Edd n Eddy was voiced by a woman too.

George was voiced by a girl as well (Eleanor Noble). D.W. was voiced by a few boys as too. Actually all of D.W.'s voice actors were boys.

Why does the name of Julie Lemieux sound so familiar? I know of her from some other show/movie/whatever, but I can't pinpoint what.

That much I know, I believe the producers decided to do that to intentionally make D.W. sound all the more annoying and obnoxious, as opposed to having an actual sweet little girl voice.

Looking at her credits I don't really see much reason why I should even recognize the name, I guess I just do so from bits and pieces of shows I've watched.

Julie Lemieux did the voice of Rupert Bear on Rupert. I've been watching Rupert on Qubo/ION. I can tell they're the same person.
