Episodes / Re: The Episode Help Thread

Looking through the episodes of early seasons again, could it have been "Arthur's Lost Library Book"? I don't know if that particular scene was in it, but the plot of the episode seems to fit that bill.

I am so dumb. I knew Stanley interacted with them...I guess I just didn't think of him at the time...

But if I'm correct, no toys interacting with babies, pets, or imaginary friends in "Desperately Seeking Stanley"...

Hm...for some reason that isn't ringing a bell for me at all, though I'm not quite as well versed on the very early seasons because I haven't seen them nearly as recently...

Actually, Mei Lin's pie chart said that most of the episodes were about kids and grown-ups.

I think that it's interesting that the babies and pets can understand toys and imaginary friends. So what they're saying is that imaginary friends are real, and that Nadine could be a translator if she wanted others to know that she exists?

The original poster actually meant that on the pie chart, the most were about kids and grown-ups, then pets, then babies, meaning that there are more pet episodes than baby episodes.

When did toys enter the baby and pet world?

This topic has been moved to Fan Creations, as it is extremely misleading in the "series discussion" section.

I was picturing a live action movie where the characters are human. Actually, I was picturing Arthur in college, D.W. in high school, and Kate in junior high. Perhaps an all-star cast?

Eh, I don't know. There's just something about a live-action/humanized Arthur that makes me a little uncomfortable. But I do agree that a college Arthur/high school DW/jr. high Kate special sounds interesting.

I like the concept of live-action Arthur, its just the execution most likely wouldn't work.

"Hic or Treat" isn't all that bad...it is what I consider a quality episode that still retains the charm of former seasons.

And yes, as you said, it is Halloween related and really isn't a remake of it, as it has a Halloween twist on it.

Hm...what is the episode for today? (I don't have a schedule on hand right now and don't feel like looking one up?)

That is weird though, and I do know what you mean. At least they played "The Scare-Your-Pants-Off Club" earlier this week...

Interesting. I never knew how connected Arthur crew is to Doug.

"Tales of Grotesquely Grim Bunny" isn't really dark, in a sense, but rather the characters being scared to read a dark comic book.

The El Boomerang thing actually is something that, from hearing about it, I am dreading to see...it sounds so far-fetched from what I perceive.

Though I think that what Marc Brown was saying there was that he wasn't going to grow up the characters on a permanent basis...I don't think that interview entirely rules out the chance of one special or spinoff.

A live action special would be interesting, except I'm not sure how the diverse amount of animals could be simulated successfully.

That is a good point to bring up.

And on that note, I am still trying to figure out why they had to set "Based on a True Story" in the winter. I guess its so they could do the hat plot, but that would be easily interchangable with something else, and also so she could experience snow for the first time?

Yeah...I bet that's because no one knows what to do with Jenna...as her personality hasn't been intricately touched much.
