Series Discussion / Long Running Series
« on: February 11, 2013, 08:31:40 pm »
I want to propose a new topic because there are often comments about Arthur being a very long running series. I don't mean to downgrade Arthur in any way but there are a lot of shows that have gone beyond the number of shows that Arthur has. I am the number one fan and hopes that Arthur will continue forever, but to be fair to all these other shows I want to start this discussion off with this list of other long running shows.  My question is ,"Can Arthur last as long as any of these other shows and is there enoughdepth or subject matter in the series to make it?" Ok not the best question but surely  the list of long running shows must provide some comparitive points for comparing our mild mannered aardvark.

Characters / Arthur character model
« on: February 03, 2013, 08:54:34 am »
There must be a better place to put this post but it occured to me that the site doesn't have the official design of the Arthur character as he was created for the series. So here is the official line work Arthur rotation and lip model used by the animators, storyboard artists, and designers.
It should be helpful for anyone who is ever in the mood for drawing some Arthur artwork or animation.

Cast and Crew / Crew members that appear in the series
« on: January 23, 2013, 08:58:35 pm »
I would like to start a new topic and that is crew members or names of crew that appear in the series. I will start with this character from the show when the kids go to circus school at Boudnikov's circus. The goat character is a caricature of Igor Boudnikov the supervisor of character design in the series for a number or seasons around seasons 10 to 15.  I think the show with the circus is 117B  Francine's Big Top Trouble. Here is a link to the show.
