Why do people hate Arthur so much?

How come everytime I mention anything Arthur related, why do people have a cow and whining? People don't whine when I mention other cartoons and anime? So why do people bash Arthur so much? Everyday when I go on the Arthur wiki, people clog up the wiki with vandalism, spam, trolling, flame wars, etc. This never happens this much on other wikis. Also everytime, when I go on the Arthur page on Facebook. People spam, troll, spam, troll, nonstop! Facebook recently did a junk account sweep, and the likes went down dramatically. So what is it about Arthur that upsets people, and Arthur's sites that attach vandals, spammers, trolls, flammers, etc.?  ???

Is this IRL or something? Because I don't see any of this Arthur hating you keep talking about in any public areas on the internet, like forums and comment sections and such.

If it is real life, it's probably the age-old, "That's for babies!" jive that people always use as an excuse for saying you're not supposed to watch stuff like that... I know, by the time I was in Grade 3, Muppets of any kind were considered "for babies", and by the time I was in Grade 8, suddenly, watching cartoons was "uncool" and showed that you "needed to grow up" (but like you're complaint also regards, at that time, SpongeBob was considered the only exception).

As I have said before, the reason that Arthur Wiki is vandalized and spammed is not because people hate Arthur. It is because people like to vandalize wikis about things that they only liked as kids, and now think it is for babies. That is the reason that other wikis are not vandalized as much, because they are things that more teens/adults like.

Muppetfan pretty much couldn't have said it better. We don't have as many issues as when we did in 2011 now, but we do get "stragglers" here and there.

Yeah, that and the vandals have too much time on waste.

I've never known anyone who "hates" Arthur. Growing up, yeah, they'd say things like "It's for babies" because Pokemon was becoming a GIANT hit, but now out of high school those people who said that are like "Ahhh, memories".

At the risk of skiving off topic, it amazes me that to this day, Pokemon is STILL a big hit... over ten years later, I don't believe that fandom has ever waved... I honestly fell off that bandwagon maybe two or three years afterwards when it started becoming too much keep up with, so it astounds me that there's people out there who are able to memorize how ever many number of creatures there are today, as well as their powers and everything.

I was thinking the samething with Yu-Gi-Oh! I jumped off that bandwagon years ago, although I did participate in some games during 2009 in high school, but I kept track of points. ;)
