They really put in some thought...

Today they showed "Buster's Secret Admirer."

Today is "Love Note Day."

They actually do spend their time looking up obscure holidays to air episodes based on them...

Well then, why couldn't they play "Love Notes for Muffy"?

But anyway, Drtooth over at MC really had a point with "Buster's Secret Admirer", that it seems like Bitzi is a little TOO obsessed, almost incestuously, over her own son... I'm sure she's probably that way because she's a divorcee, and Buster is all she has in the world, but still, I mean, the way she smothers him is going to cause some major problems for him when he gets older... he's probably going to have a lot of social and developmental problems as a teen and young adult, because he won't be emotionally or mentally mature enough to go through life without his mommy.

Not that I would know anything about that or anything, but still... yeah... Buster's going to have some problems when he grows up because of Bitzi's smothering and hovering.

Bitzi and Mrs. Walters are two prime examples of helicopter mothers.

I did think of "Love Notes for Muffy" and I really wish they would have played that one instead. It's been ages since I saw it.

But as for your talk about Bitzi, I definitely agree. Bitzi is way too over-protective of Buster, one that may cause him some problems later. I doubt that he will have much trouble, but I think that the biggest problem is that Bitzi won't be able to let go of him and give him more freedoms as he gets older.

I have to wonder though, what did ever become of Harry since she and Bitzi broke up? I know he gave Buster that somewhat sugar-coated, "We're broken up, but we're also still friends" explanation, but I don't think I've seen him on the show since... but then again, I don't even really recall seeing him outside "Bitzi's Beau" and "Bitzi's Breakup".

Oh well. I HATE Martin Spivak!!!

For some reason I think I can remember Harry appearing with Buster in one episode since, can't recall when though.

Harry also appears in "Buster the Myth Maker" and "The Curse of the Grebes".

Ah, yes...I am so stupid.

However, the question does raise: were these really after Harry and Bitzi's breakup in the actual canon?

yeah the Curse of the Grebes episode 135 came after Bitzi's Breakup episode 110. Harry Mills still shows up sometimes but Bitzi and Harry are not dating anymore. Harry still works as the sports writer for Bitzi's paper. Harry Mills shows up in two more shows that will be airing in the spring. Baseball Blues and Molina's Mulligan.

Molina's Mulligan aired in April, for Australia. It seems Australia keeps getting the next season early. According to the Arthur Facebook page, So Funny I Forgot to Laugh/The Best Day Ever is the final season 16 episode. Does this mean Molina's Mulligan and the Australia episodes will be season 17?

That appears to be the case. Samething happened with Season 14. All the episodes aired in Australia. In the US and Canada only ten episode aired as Season 14. The rest aired as Season 15.
