Thanks for the preview info -- this sounds like a great episode.  :)  I can't wait for this episode to come out in English, so I may have to resort to Google Translate as well.  I'm semi-conversational in Arabic, so I'm also able to grasp small bits and pieces of the Hebrew episodes due to similarities between the two Semitic languages, though 3/4 of it is still gibberish.

Muffy has the potential to be one of my favorite characters.  Normally nefarious characters really shine above the rest when they start to show glimmers of goodness.  It's sort of like being able to appreciate the warmth of a fire so much more when coming in from a long walk in the cold.

It sounds as if it might touch on some of the other pitfalls that very wealthy children can experience...aside from being materially spoiled and narcissistic, that is.  While studies show that overall well-being of children generally increases with family income, this only occurs up to a point.  Strange things start to happen when you look at that top 1-5% income bracket.  Lack of quality attention and love from overly-busy parents, for instance, is common in families with a household income over $150,000.  Being crushed by unrealistically high expectations is another one that plays out later in life -- as well as a high rate of substance abuse and depression.  It would be interesting to see these issues explored more thoroughly in future episodes, at least to the extent that they could be shown among 8 year-old kids.

Regarding the Hebrew voices - I know!  Buster cracks me up.  Arthur's voice is also pretty gruff.  He sounds like he has emphysema from a lifetime of smoking.  And the fact that D.W. has, for reasons unknown, become Geli is just icing on the cake.

I'm sorry to throw everyone off topic (well, not really, it'd be nice to get people to stop obsessing over Bud Compson's hat...), but I just wanted to clear somethings up for the viewers of our show, and let everyone know, that I actually did have one line in segment, "Buster Bombs", however, either because of time constraints, or because of clumsy editing, my line was removed. Basically, all I said was, "I'll have the hot dogs, please", since Buster did not want them before me in line.

But... it's okay... I really don't like to draw attention to myself anyway... even though it's surprising to me, and Alex as well, that we both seem to have something of a following.

Is that topic going to remove?

When I first saw this episode, I was SO excited when Maria had the whole screenshot to herself for a good 2-3 seconds... YET she still managed to say nothing at all. I still have hope that she will come out of her shell someday.  :)

Given all that's happened, I'm not at all surprised that people up top are actively censoring Maria.  They're afraid she'll try to alert the audience of the unspeakable horrors she's witnessed.
We know that Larry King's been involved as early as Season 7 when Elwood City turned 100.
We also know the full extent of what he's capable of: http://www.amazon.com/The-Franklin-Cover-up-Satanism-Nebraska/dp/0963215809

*Temporarily breaking out of character again for a moment*

So I finally got to see all of "Kidonia" today, and it was mostly good (and I see Tolon Brown co-wrote it), even if it was rather cliched: kids forming their own country (or their own city, or setting off on their own) all mainly as a means to get away from chores and rules among other things, it's been done before. I did like how Brain actually made up his own Kidonia-exclusive money (IIRC, I think there's an actual city here in the U.S. that has its own currency since the American dollar is virtually worthless nowadays, but it's only redeemable in that city) and Buster tried to use it to actually buy things. I'm not at all surprised that one by one, everyone started to leave Kidonia when they realized their own Constitution basically inconvenienced them (that or they just simply didn't agree on everything). I kind of think the episode had a Downer Ending though: nothing was really resolved, and we don't see how Arthur, Buster, Francine, or Brain worked things out afterwards, we just basically see Arthur return home, dejectedly (and D.W. now Head of Security at the Read house).

I think it would have been interesting (albiet still cliched) if other kids became Kidonia citizens, aside from just Arthur, Buster, Francine, and Brain: I'm sure Muffy would weasel her way into taking control of some position of authority, and I know Binky would just simply become a citizen for the sake of joining in on whatever's going on.

^ At least one city that uses its own currency is Ithaca, NY. There are probably others as well.

Not the first time this has happened - Season 6's "More!" implies Arthur and the gang broke up on ends regarding finances - though are clearly back together by the next episode.

I also found Kidonia an interesting episode. Pretty good and I have a feeling more is to come this year.
