I have a feeling that someday the characters will call him Alan instead of Brain.

Why do you think that, Crossover?

"The Play's the Thing" is similar to "The Law of the Jungle Gym." The Tough Customers like to hang out on the Tower of Pain, but instead of the other kids using it, the kids are nowhere near it. Is "The Play's the Thing" supposed to have a moral? Is it "Make sure you get some fresh air and exercise and not spend so much time using electronics," or "Make sure bullies have their way"?

I think it's more of emphasizing a statement than conveying an actual moral (if that makes sense, I don't know). These days, kids are more preoccupied with electronics than with actual running around and playing on playgrounds- healthy, real-life, non-virtual activity. So the ending was sort of everyone starting to break that trend. I think that's the message the episode tried to convey.
