Get Smart

I just noticed something about this episode...during the middle of the class, the whole class really supported HUGO and cheered him on (I remember a student saying "HUGO's the best!" or something along those lines), and Brain was the only one to be skeptical of HUGO's claimed perfection. But at the end of the episode he is suddenly seen as an enemy by the class (When Binky foolishly applauds him answering Mr. Ratburn's stumper question, everyone's staring at him disapprovingly).

A possible theory to explain this occurence: maybe they didn't really see HUGO as an enemy, they just wanted to see Ratburn stump HUGO?

What's with this sudden change in attitude towards that smart board?

Well, maybe there's something important in the episode that I forgot.

When I first saw the title of this thread, I automatically thought of the TV series Get Smart. I thought you found an allusion to that sitcom.

Yes, I'm sure that when they first turned against HUGO. Binky forgot after HUGO answered the puppet question correctly.
"Where's my Prince Charming?!"
