Man this is just one of my favorite episodes. This showed how things just went from bad to worse before things improved. What else did everyone like about this episode?

Where on earth did those new kids come from in the class?  ???
Arthur: I told you...NOT TO TOUCH IT!!! Captain Falcon: Falcon Punch! Terry Bogard: Are you okay!? Buster Wolf!

Love it! One of my favorites too, it's a riot of an episode, and the whole chain of reactions was really funny too, though too bad Arthur couldn't show any backbone and add to it as well since Buster ate his cookies.
I stretch like a snake, and I shimmy and shake, and I bounce like a ball, and I say something cute when you give me a squeeze!

Who knows. Maybe they were just there. They would appear again in the episode Desert Island Dish, which strangely enough takes place just before the Summer vacation.

I really like this episode also. The chain reaction is just so great and funny all at the same time.

That actually makes sense. "Desk Wars" takes place on a hot day, which would most likely be toward the end of the school year, meaning that they may have been new students at the very end of the year.

"Desk Wars" is one of my favorite season 8 episodes. What I like about it is that it had a "stupid Brain" moment that I thought was more believable than most others: him not knowing what feng shui is.

George is right. They do tend to make a big deal out of everything.

How did the writer(s) think up the chain reaction?
"Where's my Prince Charming?!"
