April 9th
« on: December 19, 2012, 11:25:14 am »
I'm assuming the reason why this episode is seemingly randomly being aired today is in response to the devastating school shooting up in Connecticut?
I stretch like a snake, and I shimmy and shake, and I bounce like a ball, and I say something cute when you give me a squeeze!

I was aware of it via the Arthur Facebook.

Well, yeah, "April 9th" was pretty much their response episode to 9-11.

Sesame Street did a similar episode where Hooper's Store had a fire, scaring Elmo, until a concerned fire fighter offered to give him a tour of a fire station, and let him see where fire fighters work, and what they do to help people.

I saw that episode of Sesame Street years ago.
